Delhi is known for its rich and diverse cultures, history and heritage is the ideal place to explore the pulse of India and its people.[/icon_timeline_item][icon_timeline_item time_title=”DAY 02 CITY TOUR OF OLD & NEW DELHI” title_font_style=”font-weight:bold;”]The morning begins with refreshing breakfast. Your guide will meet you at your hotel and ready to show you the best of Old and New Delhi. The tour will start with Old Delhi where you will visit the Jama Mosque- the largest mosque of India. In continuation we take a Rickshaw ride (Pedi cabs) through the 300 year’s old Chandni chowk bazaar to explore the historical lanes of Old Delhi and Asia’s largest spice market.

At the end of the rickshaw ride we move on to Raj Ghat, the memorial of father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi. It is a peaceful place with beautiful gardens.

Later we head to British Delhi (New Delhi), drive pass the official home of President of India (Rashtrapati Bhavan) and India’s highest legislative body the parliament building. Also visit the Iconic India gate memorial to 90,000 India soldiers who died during World War 1.

Our last visit for the day will be Qutub Minar UNESCO world heritage site.

On arrival check in at Hotel. Later visit Agra fort. It is one of the three strategic forts build by Mughal emperors. It enjoyed great prestige and significance when Agra served as their capital. The Mughal treasury was always kept in this massive giant fort. ll.

As the sun begins to set you will be at Mehtabh Bagh, to take in the magnificent view of the Taj Mahal from the opposite side of the river. Taj Mahal memorial to Love, is the tomb of Mumtaj Mahal, the wife of 5th Mughal emperor Shah Jahan, World’s richest man of his time. There are many architectural buildings in the world but what makes this building different than other is the love story behind this monument of Love.

Return to the hotel for breakfast. After relaxing breakfast we drive to Pink city Jaipur. En route we make stop to visit Fatehpur sikri. Continue our drive to Jaipur. Upon arrival in Jaipur check in at your hotel. Evening will be at your leisure.

After exploring Amber fort we head to the city for rest of the sightseeing tour. En route we stop to take picture of the amazing spectacle Jal Mahal (Water palace).

Afternoon enjoy a local Jaipur style of artwork, block printing and stone cutting. Further we visit City palace- Built between 1729 and 1732, Located in the epicentre of the Pink city Jaipur. Also visit solar observatory Jantar Mantar. The observatory was built in 1716 A.D and contains 15 astronomical instrument complexes, one remain unfinished, of which 6 function with solar lithe and 11 by Lunar and stellar reflection.

Jodhpur -Founded in 1459 by Roa Jodha, a Rajput chief of the Kingdom of Marwar. It is also referred to as the Blue city due to the vivid blue painted house. Upon arrival visit MEHRANGARH FORT: 550 years old fort, stands proudly on a 125 m long hill is an architectural marvel. Also visit UMAID BHAWAN PALACE: It is one of the world’s largest private residences. This beautiful palace was built by Maharaja Umaid singh to provide employment to his people during a long drawn famine in the early 20th century.

Rohetgarh is situated on the banks of a lake and set in the midst of rural surroundings; it is a haven of peace and tranquillity. Sprawling lawns and manicured gardens, which invite a multitude of birds and dancing peacocks, herald your entry into this oasis where the bird song is the only sound you will hear. A superb swimming pool with four charming pavilions entices you for a refreshing dip.

The central Chaumukha [four faced temple] is dedicated to Adinathji the temple is an astounding creation with 29 halls and 1,444 pillars all distinctly carved and no two being alike is an amazing evidence of the genius sense of architecture that enhances the charm of the place. Every temple has this conceivable surface carved with equal delicacy. Overall Ranakpur is known as ‘ The tranquil pilgrimage town. Continue drive to Udaipur.
